Jovees Fairness Lotion Water Resistant SunScreen with SPF 25

As we already know that whatever the season is, we need a good moisturizer or sun screen always.
So today I reviewed a fairness lotion plus sunscreen from the brand Jovees.                                 

Jovees is a well known herbal brand. I like their skin products range and their ingredient list, they never disappointed me. I didn't use their hair care products so I don't know about them. But yes I want to try them too and reviewed here.


Price :- Rs 165 for 100 ml.
              Rs 365 for 200 ml.

Aloe Vera, chamomile extract, carrot ext., Liquorice ext., Sandal ext.

Jovees water resistant sun screen fairness lotion defined scientifically using Liquorice, carrot, sandal, chamomile, aloe Vera and other herbal extracts that have properties to protect skin from the harmful effects of sun rays.

My Take on Jovees Fairness Lotion Sun Screen SPF 25 :-

Packaging is white round shaped bottle with pump dispenser which is covered with transparent cup cap.Texture is really smooth white coloured and not so thick, it's like medium consistency.         Smell of this lotion is little similar to the products which have liquorice or sandalwood and freshing but not so strong that bothered sensitive noses.
I have oily skin in summers and dry in winters with fair skin tone which is acne prone.
I apply the lotion after washing my face, it feels light and blended easily on my oily skin and also gives even toned fairness instantly without any greasiness.                                                                   

It has low SPF But instead of that my skin didn't get tanned in hot days, maybe due to i spent less time direct under the sun and doesn't cause acne which is a good part about this product. But in autumn days when my skin changes to combination type, the lotion feels little dry after one or two hours.  The fairness claim is right, it gives instant glow but after few hours it faded away. It suits me in summers but in winters I think I need extra moisturizer underneath it. It is available Here at discount.

1. ‌I didn't find it travel friendly packaging.
2. ‌They never mentioned their complete ingredient list on their skin products.
3. ‌Low SPF.
4. ‌Didn't give long lasting fairness.
5. ‌Didn't hide dark under-eyes perfectly.

Overall it's a good product for those who want to use just one product for all purpose like sunscreen, even tone skin, light lotions.

I don't want to repurchase it because there are lot more lotions available with good spf and good skin coverage.
But yes this is must try product.
